FREE TICKETS to the London Allergy + Freefrom Show 2015

Hello Freefrommers.

Just a quick note to share a link to FREE (!) tickets to The Allergy & Free From Show 2015 sponsored by Udi’s Gluten Free, taking place on the 3rd-5th July at London’s Kensington Olympia.

I highly, highly recommend that anyone with coeliac disease, food allergies, food intolerances, or even a passing interest in ‘freefrom’ nutrition books a place.

I had a great time at last years event, despite still being a bit woozy from having an endoscopy the day before (but that’s another story), and am already looking forward to this one. If it’s anything like last year’s, you will:

a) Eat your weight in free samples (seriously, take a rucksack)
b) Learn of the existence of amazing gluten free products that you’d never heard of
c) Meet people who UNDERSTAND about cross-contamination, #fruitisnotapudding and flour in the sauce.
d) Get to chat to some of the faces behind your favourite brands.

There are also opportunities to hear from experts in the field of gastroenterology and nutrition, freefrom cookery classes, and ‘Allergy Adventures’ events for kids.

Oh yes, and IT’S FREE.

Even if you’re not based in London, this could be a fun event to arrange a daytrip or a weekend away around – it’s just a short hop from Kensington Olympia to the more touristy parts of town.

  1. No, I hadn’t! Damn! I would absolutely love to but I’m broke at the moment (have had to save up just for a haircut, lol) so I guess I’ll have to wait. But I hope you’ll do a post about it?! Oh, I am SO in for an HB/C&S meet-up! HB do a gf veggie burger, right?

  2. Eeeeeeeep!!! I am so ridiculously, insanely, over-the-top excited about the Allergy Show! Last year was the first time I’d been for a few years and I am DETERMINED to go again this year! I had such a brilliant time, and it’s grown an awful lot since the last time I went. This year, we’ll be taking a small travel case to put everything in because there were 5 of us last year and we struggled to carry everything, haha!!! Cannot. Wait!!!

    • Wheeee yayy!! It was great wasn’t it, such a treat to be able to try oodles of gluten free food for free! Look forward to hopefully meeting a few gluten free blogger types there this time, would be great to say hi!

P.S. What’s happened to your lovely chocolatey blog? I just tried clicking & it said it’s been deleted! :(

      • Definitely! Gluten Free Gathering is trying to arrange something for the weekend of the Allergy Show, so we could probably do a blogger’s meet-up then. Or (and I’m just throwing this out there because I’m desperate to go) we could organise a get-together at Romeo’s or Cookes and Scream. :0) Entirely altruistic, I assure you! Almost, anyway!

Oh goodness! I didn’t think anyone even knew about it. I started blogging a couple of years ago and wanted to do lots of chocolate-based recipes (partly in homage to my old H.E teacher who laughed about the fact that every lesson, I managed to work chocolate in to whatever I made). But when I started my business last year, I couldn’t do both and set up my current blog instead. But I promise to do chocolate stuff for Easter!

        • Ooh yes I am well up for a bloggers meet :) Have you seen the next Gluten Free Gathering is at Romeo’s? I already have a ticket, you should come! It would be fun to do an Honest Burger / Cookies and Scream meetup at some point too, they are right next to each other and both pretty great. Aw I enjoyed your choccy-based recipes, look forward to seeing what you do for Easter!
