Gluten-free Food Porn – Honest Burgers and WAGfree treats

I’m in trouble. I don’t think I can go back to supermarket gluten-free food. I stopped by Brixton Village Market this weekend, with the express purpose of gorging on beautiful gluten-free food. Now I’m hooked. My friend M and I started at Honest Burger, which turned out to be a sort of meaty mecca; a place that serves burgers so good that even my non-meat-loving friend could not resist having one. I had a beef burger with cheddar on a gluten-free bun (a good one!) and rosemary salted chips, served with lashing of ketchup and lemony water to wash it all down. It. Was. Divine. I wish I had taken a photo to better illustrate this, but really, just go. You may have to queue, but for fantastic food at a quite reasonable price (about £8 for a very filling and delicious meal) I’d say it is worth it. After we stumbled out of the burger joint, we patted our food babies and headed to The WAGfree Cafe. Once again, I was in food heaven. …
